Help us to make these repairs this summer
We've got some work ahead of us this summer to get the Club into shape.
Flashing and Exterior Lighting
The flashing around the top of the building is rotten and must all be replaced. We've also got a graffiti problem to address. As you can see the lights have come loose and are just dangling. Replacing these lights is a high priority as they are essential to our security as well as to the safety of our members. Better lighting may be a deterrent to the graffiti artists - which, by the way, are everywhere in Sarasota now. No neighborhood is immune to this. It's been suggested that having a bare white wall is just offer them a clean canvas to paint on - so, we'll have to give some thought to painting red/white stripes around the back and south side of the building.
Air Conditioners
New laws in the Sarasota/Bradentaon area were put in place to put a stop to the copper thieves that have plagued the area for the past decade. It's nearly impossible for thieves to sell stolen copper coils. In the meantime, we've got a couple of AC units that are presently not working. Plans are in motion to repair these this summer. Additionally, we have a number of derelict AC units on the roof. These are non-functioning and irreparable. We're looking into having them removed.
